Program Requirement
The academic programme leading to the Ph.D. degree is broad-based and involves a minimum course credit requirement and research thesis.

Computing Facilities
Immediately upon joining, each student is assigned a high-end PC with high-speed Internet access. The PCs are supported by state-of-the-art servers that run on diverse platforms. Open-source software is used extensively and also developed in-house.
Financial Support
Several sources of funding are available for meritorious students. The school has large endowments such as the Major Bhagat Singh Rekhi Endowment and the Ramrao Nilekhani Endowment, which provide many fellowships. There are also numerous teaching and research assistantship. In additions, funding supports from project sponsored by governments and industry is also available. At the current time 100% of the students receive some form of financial support.
