→ I am an outstation participant. Will I be provided accomodation?

→ How do I reach the venue?

→ We are a group of people interested in attending Workshop. Can we send DDs for the total sum?
Yes. Please refer to the registration page for more details of payment through DD.
→ Is online registration equivalent to reserving seats for further confirmation?
No. Online registration only shows your interest in attending the workshop. Your seats will be reserved/confirmed (on a FCFS basis) only after your participation fee reaches us.
→ I have not received any receipt for the fee sent by DD. Whom should I contact?
A confirmation mail will be sent to you (if your e-mail id is provided by you) when your DD reaches us, which will function as the temporary receipt. Please bring a printout of your email when you arrive for the Workshop. You will be able to collect the receipt for the DD from the Help Desk at the venue on the day of the Workshop.
→ I won't be able to attend the Workshop completely. Can I take the Certificate and leave early?
No, you will get the Certificate of Participation only at the end of the second day. You would need to attend both days completely in order to take the Certificate.
→ I am a confirmed participant. But, I will not be able to attend the Workshop. Can I cancel the registration and get my money back?
Yes, you can cancel your registration anytime. But your money would be refunded only if the cancellation is done at least 5 days prior to the Workshop date, i.e. by 5th March 2007.
→ I am a registered professional participant. I will be able to come for the event but am unable to send the DD by the 5th of March. Can I get a seat?
Yes, if you call us to confirm, we can reserve a seat for you. The contact phone numbers are: 022-25764957/4955/4977. Ask for Girish/Prathab/Kedar/Manoj/Shravan). This is only applicable to professionals and not students. Please arrange to send the DD by 7th March.
→ I am a registered participant. I have sent a DD as entry fees. What will happen if the DD reaches you after registrations close? Can I get my money back?
Yes, we will refund the money in case the DD arrives after all seats are filled.
→ I am a confirmed participant. But, I will not be able to attend the Workshop. Can I send a replacement?
Yes, you can. You would, however, need to inform us at least 2 days in advance. In case of a Professional replaces a Student, you need to pay the additional participation fee. In case of Professional to Student, we will be unable to refund the difference.
→ I registered but did not get confirmation. Will I be given preference if there are any on the spot cancellations?
No. The on the spot registration, if any, will be strictly on First Come First Serve basis.
→ I am a confirmed participant. I would be arriving late. Will I be allowed to attend the Workshop?
Yes, but please inform us in advance so that we can make necessary arrangements.
→ I attented your last Workshop. Is there any preference given to that?
→ I am a student of IIT Bombay. Is there any preference given to that?
No. All participants would be considered the same.
→ I wanted to attend the Workshop, but did not get a confirmation. Will this Workshop be held again?
No. We do, however, plan to re-telecast the Workshop at a later date. Do check the website for announcements regarding the same.
→ I wanted to attend the Workshop, but did not get a seat. Can I get some lecture notes or online resources, by paying some fee?
Lecture notes will be provided only to the confirmed participants who attend the Workshop. Online resources may, however, be made available at the Workshop website at a later date, depending upon the speaker's descretion.
