ITA Activities Year 2003

| Confluence 2003, datamining workshop is conducted to introduce the fundamentals of Datamining. Topics like classification, clustering, web mining, bio-informatics, association rule mining, data-warehousing are covered. The workshop tried to give handful of information even to the layman without good statistical knowledge. The feedback from the participants is very good. Visit Confluence2003 Homepage |

| A 4-day, 2 weekend workshop is conducted to introduce the freshers, who joined IIT, to the computing facilites which are available in the campus. The topics include windows, basic & advanced linux, networking fundamentals, hardware and troubleshooting. Visit Prabhat Homepage |

| A small party is arranged to all the seniors(2001 Batch) who attended the IITB convocation. Parents of all the seniors are also invited to the party. Our seniors shared there sweet memories about their stay here. |

| A warm welcome party is arranged for the fresh batch(2003 Batch) to make them fell free in the new place. A few games and snacks were arranged for entertainment. This is also follwed by a dance session. |

| A new ITA Council was elected and V. G. Vinod is elected as the new General Secretary. |
