| What a trip it has been. Mtech03, Mtech04 and Mtech05 had an wonderful time at Raighad. Mtech04 and 05 started early in the morning from KReSIT and reached Shivathalghal around 10A.M, a place near Mahad. By that time, some of our old hero's(Sudhir, Kalam, Shailesh, Subbu, NagP, Mallik and Co.. from Mtech03) were already waiting for us. Everyone enjoyed Waterfalls around the place. Then, all the hungry junta had their early breakfast and then started towards Raighad. From then onwards everyone spent their time watching the beauty of Nature at its best. Some people reached the Fort by "Ropeway" while others enjoyed trekking. At the end of the day an Interesting thing happened... some enthu junta.. thanks to "Nokia 1100 Cellphone" used as "Torchlight" to come down during the return journey, while the rest enjoyed the "Ropeway". Finally, at 9:30pm everyone had their dinner at bottom of Raighad Fort and reached KReSIT by 2 AM. Thanks to ITA for this wonderful trek..

| Once more it has been proven that KReSITian's can take time out of their busy schedule and spend it towards extra curricurlar activities. Today as part of the Independence day Celebrations, ITA organized "Face Painting Competition" where juniors and Seniors colored the faces of their partners in the game.. Some painted the National flag on their faces while others had some special paintings depicting various themes. The team that won the prize (Shruti and Deepti) had depicted "Free Country" in the form of a butterfly moving around freely day and night. After that as usual, a photo sesssion, followed by a big Cake party. The highlight of the entire day was a Rock'in Musical Performance by Guitarist's:: Abhijeet and Karthik, Singer's:: Anshuman, Amol D, Ashuthosh, Sarat. This is the first time KReSIT had such a performance. To add color to the musical show, Mtech04 ka shere panjab... Naval presented a thought provoking Poem in memory of martyrs who gave their lives for the independence which we are enjoying now. The musical band received a small token of appreciation for their amazzzzing performance, by the Chief guest Ashish C. Everyone joined together for concluding the event with the National Anthem.
Special credit goes to all the MTech'05 enthu junta who actively participated in all the activities despite their F-Lab deadline :)

| The ITA and Mtech-04, gave a memorable farewell party for the passing out junta, which lasted for continuoes 9 hours on 25th june. Mtech-03 together with Mtech-04 had lots of fun as the party was loaded with games, traditional dress shows(both formal and informal), Video profiles, Special song for each senior and Chocolates in between. Finally, one good compliment towards Mtech-04 is that, Mtech-03 totally accepted that nothing can withstand before the ENTHU of Mtech-04.......... MTECH-04 ROCKS....

| On March 5th-6th we had Convergence 2005, Workshop on Computing Infrastructure In Enterprise Networks. The event witnessed about 180 participants from all over India, and received excellent feedback as all the talks were so informative. Visit Convergence 2005 |

| It was the post-convergence get-together at 5pm on 7th April, 2004. It started off with ITA G-Sec., Sudhir Reddy extending a warm welcome to everyone and our HOD, Prof. Krithi, appreciating students, faculty, DEP staff, office staff, and all others whose participation made certain the success of this event. A heartening applause given to one and all, for, every single person was an important thread that resulted in this well knitted Convergence'04. |

| A 2 day workshop was held in KReSIT, to provide a insight of the various research activities going on in KReSIT and CSE departments . Students and Faculty from Vellore Engineering College, Tamilnadu participated in this workshop. A few other students from around Mumbai also attended the workshop. |
