Wireless communication has revolutionized the way people live and work today.
People no longer need to be tied to their homes and offices to keep in touch
with their loved ones or send across important messages or entertain
themselves. Wireless Technology has powered mobile applications in cellular
mobile phones and handheld devices delivering high quality voice and data
right where people are, anytime, anywhere.
We at KReSIT, IIT Bombay have an active group doing research in the field of
wireless communications. Through this workshop we, the IT Association , attempt to explain the technology,
give the details of the specialized domains and discuss the future of wireless technology.
The details of the Workshop are as follows:

- Time : 9:00 AM to 6:30 PM
The two day long workshop will cover topics like GSM, GPRS, CDMA, WLL, Blue
Tooth, 802.11 / 16, WAP, Adhoc and Sensor Networks. Along with
technical talks by distinguished academicians from IIT Bombay and
executives from top-notch companies in the wireless domain, we also have
invited talks from leading service and technology providers. They will
share some invaluable experiences and also the process and issues involved in setting up
the actual infrastructure required for providing these services.
We will also have panel discussions on the recent trends in Wireless Technologies.
