Convergence - 2001: Wireless Communications Workshop

Wireless Communication is the technology which will revolutionize the way people live and work in the 21st century. People will no longer need to be tied to their homes and offices to keep in touch with their loved ones or send across important messages or entertain themselves. Wireless Technology will power Mobile applications to cellular mobile phones and handheld devices delivering high quality voice and data right where people are, anytime anywhere.

Building mobile applications requires engineers who understand the technology in addition to being skilled in the use of tools and techniques used in the design and contruction of such applications.

With this aim in mind, The School of Information Technology at IIT Bombay along with 3Genesis are happy to announce a one day workshop on wireless communications, Convergence 2001.

The workshop is open to all interested students, who are curious to learn what the new technology is all about and how mobile applications are built, from professionals who work on building cutting edge mobile applications.
