This lab aims to identify and do proof of concept for solutions that form an affordable option for the end-user. A large scale proliferation of IT in India is limited by the cost of deploying IT solutions. Recognizing that affordability is a major issue, KReSIT decided to initiate serious efforts to develop (hardware and software) solution prototypes which have the desired functionality, acceptable performance, and yet are affordable in terms of their total cost of ownership (TCO).
