Project work |
Academic projects include: § My MTech project was Filter object framework for MICO. MICO is an open source CORBA implementation. Filter object framework allows dynamic evolution of OO systems. It accomplishes this by transparently intercepting messages sent to server objects and redirecting them as necessary without any change in client side calling semantics. The project involved modifying MICO kernel to integrate filter object framework, outlining development process for filter objects and providing tools to accomplish the same. Development was done in C++ on Linux. § Other course projects include Distributed file system (C/Linux), Scalable workflow management using mobile agents (Java/Voyager mobile agent framework), C interpreter (C++/Windows), Network simulator (C/Windows), Virtual memory & multiprocessing in NACHOS (C++/Linux). |

Training |
Training undergone: § Completed one-year postgraduate diploma course in software technology (PGDST) from National Center for Software Technology in 2000 with 85.6%. The course included five modules viz. Data structures, operating systems, database management systems, networking and object oriented programming with C++. § Underwent a four-month training program at Tata Infotech Ltd., which included C, Unix, Oracle, software engineering and other self-development programs. § Completed two six months industrial training programs at Bombay Electronics Co.
