TOPIC

demo sessions

Prof. Janani's lecture really made fundamentals clear

1. Course content 2. Time management 3. Demonstration of problems

Learning new ways to use BlockMesh and adding other utilities to our geometry.(calc method and adding particles to a tank for fluidized bed) Prof. Janani Mam's explanation of VoF and Two phase E-E model as well as Prof Manaswita Mam's explanation of Fluidized bed modelling.

Along with course content related to multi phase flow. Hands on session was very helpful.

I like how prof. janani gives theory lecture she explained in easy way and prof. Ashley and divyesh did great job with OpenFOAM

The format of workshop was excellent, content covered in one day was crisp and to the point. It's really nice that FOSSEE valued time of all the participants.

The governing equations and physics was nicely discussed before proceding to simulation

It introduced me to the fosse project and gave me a baseline to start on.

Professor teaching and discussion, Interactive session, FOSSEE Team Presentations

8. Suggestions for improvement. Or any other suggestions.

way of practice

Everything about today's is good. I am not interested as TA for beginner workshop but still would like to participate.

more variety in handson material, more cases inclined to real life scenarios

Some more explanation on the physics of fluidised beds would be beneficial.

I wish if participants could receive all the ppts and recorded lectures for future reference while encountering issues during working on projects. I feel that way fundamentals could be revised whenever needed.

Keep organizing such workshop on different application.

Make sure that whenever 1 person is talking, please mute all others members.

It would be really great if recording of the session can be shared, I could not note down everything. If the recordings are shared, I might be able to absorb things completely.

It would be even more helpful if we can have some workshop on programming in OpenFOAM
