IT HELPED ME A LOT

It helped us to memorize the language.

After going through the practice problems' solutions provided by the TAs, my confidence level increased.

There is a need for taking real-life problems related to the syllabus. This can be divided into multiple workshops based on 1. Type of data - like only stat analysis related, 2. To plot graphs 3. Demography related data handling 4. Demography related data presentation and analysis. At present, it is dealing with so many aspects that I could not keep track of many things properly. Maybe, because I am from Pharma background, but then I feel this represents problems of the Pharmacy field.

In the tutorial, we see an example. then with the assignment question, we can think of the solution for then given question by comparing with the example we seen in tutorial

Since I'm a computer student, I was familiar with quite a few programming concepts, so the spoken tutorials were fairly easy to follow and did somewhat help me improve.

NA

It made me think ahead of what was already taught in the spoken tutorial.

side by side method is really helpful.

Sessions were really fast. May be the course can be spread over 2-3 days.

Yes. Since I am a beginner I got a good exposure of the process to use R which I can use in near future for my research work.

It did help to revise our concepts.

Yes. Because i haven't use it before.

The practice problems were very useful in practically applying the learning specified in spoken tutorials

CLEARING DOUBTS

Spoken tutorial sessions. Solutions provided at the end of the practice problem session.

Spoken tutorial

I came to know regarding spoken tutorials

Live Presentation and Interactive Session

Spoken tutorial and practice problem with solution and code files.

Content. Need improvement and soring

Tutorial videos, TA and the assignment questions. TA are always with us..they immediately solved our difficulty to solve our doubts

Interactive sessions and the interesting topics to be introduced to a new language with

interactive session

NA

The spoken tutorials followed by practicals questions mixed with live sessions were very informative.

live sessions with expert.

Discussion forum and practice excercises

Breakup of lessons and the teaching.

SELF LEARNING

The depth of knowledge.

Good Presentation explanations and management

Separate sessions were created to have smaller assistant to participant's ratio. the technical assistant were responding very promptly to the queries.

Coordination of staffs. its really amazing.

19. What aspect(s) about the workshop did you dislike the most?

r window code is not that much visible for participant in online

screen zooming or visibility problem

PLOTS

Very less time was allocated to listen to spoken tutorial sessions and at the same time there was a hurry to solve the practice problems. Ideally half an hour time should be given in total; spoken tutorial sessions + practice problems.

Syllabus is quite lengthy

Everything went in a hurry that beginners like me were in complete confusion.

Some topics are very heavy like I graph. It requires bit of preparation before listening the session first time or it requires multiple reading after the workshop.

In live session the screen is not clearly seen especially what are the codes are displayed in the screen.

too fast. Does not appear to be inclusive for other fraternities

Nothing... everything is good

It was quite lengthy.

putting a lot of things in small time, hectic schedule of continuous class

NA

As a beginner I felt like things got too fast at places, sometimes there wasn't enough time to finish the spoken tutorial. Overall I would've preferred if the workshop was conducted over a span of 2 days as it would've been more comprehensive.

apart from live sessions everything is going really fast.

splitting of the sessions during classroom and very less time for hand-on exercises.

Time ... Too long.

NA

The time constraint which is difficult for some to process a lot of information at the same time.

Nothing

One day is not sufficient for learning the R software. It should be more oriented towards creating a complete project which will give a step wise clarity on using the R software towards Machine learning process

nothing

VIDEOS AND MATERIALS

Slow, steady and step-by-step process

It made a peer to peer interaction.

Presentation materials and the layout of the ST web-page. However I found it difficult to extract the codes. This need to be fixed. or it could be I am doing it wrongly, which may be resolved through clarification.

Time-based questions

TA is always active in clearing the doubts. I posted my doubts in the chatbox of the google meet.As a beginner I keenly watched the tutorials ...I have already installed all the packages as you specified in the instruction for the workshop which has been mailed a few days back.. I do not felt much doubts.

NA

The Spoken tutorials were divided according to the topic and difficulty level and specially the capping of being under 15 mins was very nice.

its really interactive.

Short lectures.

Doubt clearing is easy as many people are involved in the forum.

Good Presentation explanations and management

Spoken Tutorial Forum has thought of the possible doubts and questions at various points during the videos and have given good answers at those points. Though the narration voice requires a bit more of modulation to make it a bit more interesting.

nothing

NC

NO COMMENTS..SESSION WAS GOOD & VERY INFORMATIVE.

Beginner workshop can be spread over two days as it is online mode.

nil

Make this session of atleast two or three days it will help a lot

Please make beginner workshop slow . Because beginners won't be knowing anything regarding the subject or may be knowing little bit. But the pace today we went was not acceptable.

It is tightly packed and may require more duration

Sorting, reduced speed of presentation and inclusivity are needed

It is my first experience in such a workshop. I am totally satisfied with your way of class arrangement and live session. I followed purely the instruction you have mailed. I dont feel any difficulty in following the tutrial and sessions. Thank you.

NA

keep Doing what u all are doing its great.

Since there was a power problem in our place. Could you send the recording.

Please spread the duration of the course over 2-3 days. Provide more time for exercises. Commands are difficult to remember. Provide some techniques to memorize them.

A 3 day workshop will be more helpful to retain more effectively the knowledge given.

IT WAS A GREAT EXPERIENCE. THANKS FOR GIVING THIS OPPORTUNITY.

One day is not enough for beginners. Had this workshop been stretched to a longer duration, it would have been better.

Nothing

the workshop must be for more time duration with more practice time for the participants. It should be designed for solving and coding a complete case study project to get better comprehensive knowledge.

I am the beginner to R
