Assignments are challenging , given the short time to listen to the tutorial, grasp the concept and syntax and solve it in a short time. Overall i feel assignment problems and solutions should be given to the participants to explore later

as a beginner to computational world it was difficult for me to follow

l We could validate the tutorial information with the examples and its results.

In the starting 4-5 concept assignment was helpful but in the last 2 topics it was useless since all the concepts were not clear like in palette had many options and in each option there were many sub-options since this is beginners everything should be thought from scratch and i could not understand which option is required where

Assignments are really good for the beginners. I use to teach CFD through MATLAB. Due to pandemic students are not able to come to the institute. So, this time we are covering CFD through SCILAB. It will be better to have a session like this on weekends so that the students can to attend the same (some thing like MOOCs ) kind.

The only difficulty I faced was in Xcos. If the explanation could be a little more elaborate it would help.

since we are learning first time the scilab software , we have followed basic concept, importanceand scope of scilab, instructions and how to use software once we do some practice we will be able to explore the possibilities and application of scilab.

As I have already mentioned, switching back and forth between google meet, spoken tutorials and scilab was literally making me go mad. Audio was overlapping between google meet and spoken tutorials which was really annoying. I would love to learn less things in a peaceful way rather than learning a lot in noise and messy way.

Afternoon session was fast . It would have been better to have it longer.

As i was bit slow in learning, i couldn't solve the assignments. couldn't manage time.

Classroom concept. Without any interaction it could have served the purpose in a better way. Classroom concept is flop show. For this content and delivery registration fee is too much.

The "Xcos" portion needs more tutorials as per my view.

1. In the smaller classrooms, I expected more discussions among participants, but nothing much happened. 2. After watching the spoken videos, I expected the TA to help with some hints while trying the solutions. Since nothing like that happened, as a beginner, some times I lost interest to try more solutions. A little more involvement from TA could have made the learning experience better while in small classrooms, instead of doing this in the common room. Otherwise what is the purpose of splitting to smaller classrooms, if TA does not help us?

Please change the format to live session with a faculty. I am mentioning it for the third time. I could not concentrate on the spoken tutorials as many people in google meet were frequently asking questions. Google meet does not have the facility to reduce the volume. Only system volume can be reduced. If I do so, then spoken tutorial volume also goes down. I like to learn clearly anything. This session was like for name sake. I still don't know why I paid 500 rupees to listen to lectures that are already available for free online. I feel cheated in a way

It would be better if you conduct this workshop more subject based. Because as a mathematics teacher some topics of discussion are quite out of my area and I can not do anything on it. At the same time there are a lot of areas like numerical methods , complex analysis etc, where math teachers could benefit a lot form. So if you conduct workshops for different subjects separately it will be good.
