|
Q21. What aspect(s) about the workshop did you like the most?
Amazing instructors. Good knowledge and conveyance abilities.
Hierarchical clustering with given dataset
LIVE SESSIONS
Practice Problem,
Short Session
The way they explain all mathematical calculation behind every algorithm
The aspect that the EDA was given beforehand and we could do self-study and submit.
Every online Lecture given by faculty was linked to the previous lecture with more motivations, and the assignment part worked very well for beginning the 8 hours workshop.
Q22. What aspect(s) about the workshop did you dislike the most?
NA
NA
Nothing
HTML presentation is somewhat not good for computer screen, as it's background white and very small font size, with dull gray color. Better if R Markdown file directly used for dynamic live presentation, increase font size to at least 16 and background solarized light.
Overall the hard work by faculty from IIT Bombay and VIT, Chennai both is remarkable. Looking forward to have long association with this team.
General
Q23. Check all the activities of the FOSSEE R team that you will be interested to participate in.

Q24. Suggestions for improvement or any other suggestions.
Maybe have these workshops over a couple of days. It would help the participants learn more. Morning till evening workshops tend to drain us and we reach a saturation point after a while
Everything is good!
IIT always represents the knowledge in 360 dgree.
Thank you

No
Since it was a one-day workshop and so much was taught just in a day, we had a problem retaining things. The teachers were repeatedly asking for questions and we couldn't perfectly use the opportunity to interact with them. So it would be better if in an advanced workshop, the most elementary concept materials are given beforehand and we can go through them and understand. In the workshop, the teachers will go deeper and explain to us some deeper analysis or implementation of the concepts, so it would be a more quality interaction. But overall the workshop was great.
For School and College students, more publicity through social media is required. For all courses from ST/Fosse through IIT Bombay. This one day (8 hours) live session must be followed. Thanks and best regards- Dr. Satish Verma
