Effectiveness of the current and conventional workshops

You may have undergone some other workshops. We want you to compare that experience with the current experience.
22. For HANDS-ON TRAINING of LARGE CLASSES, how does the Spoken Tutorial method compare with other workshops?

ChemCollective virtual lab Vs OLabs Vs Real lab

23. What do you prefer? Select an appropriate statement

Count of  ' I would prefer to use ChemCollective virtual lab simulations which cover the CBSE syllabus.'   :    13
Count of  'I would prefer to use Olab simulations which cover the CBSE syllabus.'   :    1
Count of  'I want to use the in-person real lab, and not a virtual lab'   :    3
Count of  ' I would like to use a combination of in-person real lab and ChemCollective virtual lab'   :    17
Count of  'I would like to use a combination of in-person real lab and Olab'   :    2

24. Can you please explain the reason for your answer to the previous question?

More scope of experiments and better steps to perform

I think real labs give you a real life experience where the student is doing the experiments on his own. But in online scenario, this is the best feasible option to go for virtual labs. And especially for students who do not have access to real labs, this is the best option.

Because hands on activity with real apparatus can give the feel of doing the experiment

ALREADY ANSWERED

great stimulation

BETTER

It will be more effective this way

Hands on is must for learning. No one can replace real lab

It is very much effective .

VERY USER FRIENDLY

Real is impactful but virtual is the need of today

real Hand on experience always more beneficial for learning rather than virtual.

it will provide more in depth knowledge to the students

very comfort to explain the subject and for stduents also will have practice on V-labs

Large spectrum to do experiments, freedom to accommodate variety of experiments, easy to understand due to provision of spoken tutorials etc.

because Olab haveall experiments have from ix,x,xi and xii physics, chemistry and biology

this one is much better

.

Realistic things are always more accurate

There are few things that can be demonstrated only in the lab. For example, if I am showing them volumetric, the observable colour changes are more evident in real labs as compared to virtual lab. Salt analysis is not there.

help better understanding

Interactive and comfortable

Actually i would go by multiple answers for the above question ( BUT CAN'T SELECT MORE THAN ONE OPTION). Would like to use a combination of in-person real lab, Chem collective virtual lab and Olab.

PRACTICALS CAN BE BEST UNDERSTOOD IF PERFORMED PRACTICALLY AND OBSERVED.

.

It is easy to do work

Real labs are more interactive .

We can perform practicals in the same manner as in real lab because all the apparatus are available in V lab

I would like to use a combination of in-person real lab and ChemCollective virtual lab because by chem Collective virtual lab we can explain the basic concepts of the experiments to the students and by in person real laboratory we can give real laboratory experimental experience.

I would like to use a combination of in-person real lab and ChemCollective virtual lab because in person real laboratory will provide the real laboratory experience and conditions where as Chem Collective lab will give the conceptual knowledge about the experiments.

Nothing can replace real labs but in ongoing situation virtual chemcollective labs are a real boon for students and teachers

25. Virtual labs are useful because,

For self practise and learning

It is very similar to actual labs.,the chemicals/ reagents, glassware that we use in real labs .. The experiments can be performed at per our convenience ,with our own pace of understanding.

It helps to demonstrate the practical and the students can conduct it on their own

WE CAN DO EXPERIMENTS WITHOUT THE WASTAGE OF CHEMICALS AND MANY NUMBER OF TIMES, AND GETS A GOOD PRACTICE.

we are using the online paltform now days and resuts can be seen immediately so it is time saving as well.

WE CAN DO IT AGAIN AND AGAIN

AT times when students cannot attend the real labs

user friendly, cost effective, time flexible

All the apparatus and chemicals are available for the particular experiments.

WE CAN USE IT TO EXPLAIN EXPERIMENTS TO STUDENTS IN A BETTER WAY

This bring out lab out of lab room, great

they can be used in absence of teachers too.It is free of cost.

gives virtual look and feel of actual lab

pandemic and better to communicate entire the world.

Acts as practice before going to real labs, students can perform experiments in todays pandemic time when schools are forced to close, no wastage of chemicals, no internet required

yes because good practice for students

its not risky

we can do it anywhere

Schools are closed nowavdays

They provide us with an interface where we can experiment without worrying about the wastage of chemicals, or breaking of glasswares.

it allows us to do any thing

They give real experience

In the present scenario, students are not getting hands- on experience in real lab set up. So Virtual Lab platforms , simulations are extremely useful for concept clarity.

IT CAN HELP STUDENTS IN DISTANCE MODE OF LEARNING CONCEPTS

.

We can perform the experiment virtually, we can check correctness of result on chemcollrctive vlabs before doing the experiment in laboratory

Virtual labs help in demonstrating the practicals that can be dangerous to perform in real lab.

For online schools it is a better option at home student can understand all the practicals

Virtual labs are useful because they it explains the concepts of the experiments and also provide knowledge about different apparatus and their handling.

They gives the knowledge and and information about the expriments to be performed.

students can access from any where and also if teacher wants to follow blended learning or flipped classroom they are helpful.

26. Virtual labs are NOT useful because,

Dont provide scope for real hand on expetience

I differ. They are useful.

Every student do not hv the access

NIL

learning by doing is not possible for all.

NA

They are very useful in present scenario

NA

Procedure is not there.

THEY ARE USEFUL

useful

Requires muchg practice.

nothing it is useful

for screen time and extra stress to the stduents and teachers too

physical presence counts a lot

literature

No personal touch

It is useful.

na

Nil

-------

SOMETIMES IT CAN RESTICT OUR KNOWLEDGE

.

Offline mode is much better

Not Applicable

Not Applicable

for childeren who use them without actually performing in lab do not get real information about apparatus used.
