Four Week AICTE approved FDP by IIT Bombay on - Use of ICT in Education for Online and Blended Learning

INSTRUCTIONS FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION PROCESS:
Tasks to be completed BEFORE beginning the online registration process.

1. You have to create your account on IITB-NMEICT website, if you have not created it earlier. Please go to home page of IITB NMEICT ( www.it.iitb.ac.in/nmeict) and sign up. You will have to upload a scanned copy of your id card at this stage. Note the email and password you create. It is strongly recommended that you use the same email-id and password on IIT BombayX also.
2. You are also required to complete the sign-up using the same email id on IIT BombayX website. (www.iitbombayx.in)
3. You have to download the permission letter format, and get it printed on your Institute letter-head. Obtain the signature of your Institute Head, and stamp. Exact format must be followed while filling it. No editing is allowed. Scan the letter to create a jpg/jpeg file. The permission letter file size should not be more than 250KB.
All these 3 tasks can be completed immediately, without waiting for the online registration process to begin on 19 April 2016.

4. Please fill up all the mandatory fields in the registration form, including the selection of your preferred RC.
5. Upload the scanned file of your permission letter.
6. After the registration, you will receive an email describing the subsequent process. Your status will be “Registered”. After your registration is verified by IIT Bombay, the status will change to “Verified”. Verification is subject to validity of your permission letter and institute id card. Once verified, you will get an email from IIT Bombay, instructing you to pay the participation fees.
7. You need to contact the concerned Remote Center Coordinator (RCC) of your chosen Remote Center, for payment of participation fee of Rs. 1,000/-. The contact details of the RCC will be available in your Dashboard of IITB NMEICT.Ordinarily, this payment has to be made before beginning of the FDP. However, as a special case, participants of this FDP are permitted to pay the fees on the first day of face-to-face interaction (on 14 May 2016) at designated RC, half an hour before the beginning of the session
8. Your registration will be approved by the RC, and the status will be changed to “Accepted”.
9. IIT Bombay will immediately confirm your registration, and the status will then change to “Confirmed”.
10. You will receive confirmation emails from both the IITB-NMEICT website and Moodle. Please save your Moodle username and password, as you will be mapped to the Moodle Course of "Foundation Program in ICT for Education and Online and Blended Learning.”
11. After confirmation, you should start participating in the Online Activity of the FDP, on IITBombayX website from 2 May to 10 July, 2016.
12. Failing to make the payment of participation fees on the day of first face to face interaction (14 May 2016), will result in your registration being rejected.
13. If your registration status shows "Cancelled”, in the final shortlisted participants’ list, then you are not eligible for the FDP.
14. All components of the FDP are mandatory for successful completion, and for becoming eligible to get the IITB Certificate of this AICTE approved FDP.
