17. In what way do you plan to use Jmol Application after learning the advanced features in this workshop.

In teaching and viewing molecules

Designing molecules

may be in some research

for teaching stereochemistry and group theory

In my teaching PPTs & Research Publications

I will discuss about this application with my friends related to graduation and post graduation .I will also suggest my teacher from my college as well as University to start giving lectures with this application ,specially in organic (stereochemistry) as I have also done specialization in organic chemistry ,and it helped me a lot to understand and love the subject more .Thank u.

Preparing lectures on group theory to enable students to better understand.

In my publication work and teaching courses

In classroom teaching, Research presentation,

molecular modelling and docking projects & ligand binding to enzymes

Introduce to students

in class teaching, preparing ppt and in research

To find the point group of the molecule.

teaching

To explain 3D molecular structure in class room teaching

19. What aspect(s) did you like most about the workshop?

Friendly people. Nice suggestions

presentation of everyone

live demonstration and tutorials

Spoken Tutorial & well thought out assignments

Side by side work on the application.

The dedication and efforts and organised way of conduction. Kept us more engaged in solving the assignments by assisting simultaneously.

The way it was conducted

Self learning method spoken tutorial, live demonstration, expert talk ,forum tutorial in different languages

saved video lectures of jmol

spokent tutorial sessions, Prior assignements.

live demonstration and assignments that involve the participants to solve the task and understanding of JMol application becomes easier

Determination of point group.

Jmol advance features

20. Any suggestions for improvement:

It was very good

use more demonstration

the fee you charge are so high

Please see that the invited speakers correlate their lecture with that of the purpose & content of the workshop. Other wise the very purpose of the spoken tutorial coupled with side-by-side learning workshops which is to "Reduce Cognitive load" would be defeated.

As we know the basic part I was expecting some more alloted time on "demonstration of some advance features in Jmol ". Although I have enjoyed and learned some more features about Jmol during the workshop.

There can also be a lecture session on group theory

More time should be given. Atleast two or three days.

Time span for one tutorial is one hours of day with practice session likewise next day will next tutorial

More time for practice should have been given

I think may be if the invited speakers use jmol and tell about the various applications it would benefit participants.

more time should be given for each assisgnment

Please focus mainly on the Jmol

21. Please give your feedback on our forum approach to answer doubts

very good

good

Excellent, because it helps in adding new queries and simultaneously minimizes repeated queries on the same topic. One need not re-invent the wheel.

Excellent

It is good.

Good

A very good session the concept of spoken tutorial is a wonderful initiative which will help backward students, even shy people, elders also to come forward to learn.

good

The doubts were discussed in depth and clarity.

22. Any other feedback:

no

nil

Humbled to see & experience great personalities like Prof. Kannan Moudgalya, down to earth Sneha Latha Madam, Our co-participants Vara Laksmi Madam, Padma Madam, Mr. Tushar (Did not see but spoke through phone & other team members of this wonderful spoken tutorial & Side-by-side learning workshop on "Jmol Advanced Features". To be honest Jmol software has an inherent weakness in not being systematic with some of its tools & most of its script commands. IITB has done it remarkably well to teach it ina systematic Way. Kudos & take a bow.

Satisfactory

Overall worship is good

Virtual tutorials are the need of the day.

No

Than you for giving me the opportunity to attend the advanced workshop. I have learned a lot.
