Tutorials need improvement
Various aspects are unclear and need further explanation
I learnt a lot using Spoken Tutorials
I couldn't learn much

15. Using these tutorials, were you able to learn the following concepts ? (Kindly respond using the scale given below, wherein 1 implies "extremely easy to learn" and 5 implies "extremely difficult to learn".)

1 (extremely easy to learn)     2     3     4     5 (extremely difficult to learn)
Understanding the problem
Creating a suitable Geometry and Mesh
Setting up the problem
Viewing the results in ParaView
Obtaining the underlying physics behind the problem

16. Were the 9:30am-10:00am optional sessions to discuss the practice problems useful?

  Yes            No

17. How will you rate the difficulty of the practice problems? Please choose 1 for difficult and 5 for easy.

20. Do you think some lectures were too advanced for this workshop? If so, please mention which.

21. Would you have wanted more lectures? If yes, please indicate which topic you would have wanted to be covered.

22. Please share your thoughts on the hands-on session (without Spoken Tutorials), and the Spoken Tutorial based sessions. Please tick all that is applicable.

When many people have doubts in a hands-on session without spoken tutorials the slowest active person decides the speed of the workshop but I don't mind it
Had the topics of hands-on sessions been converted to Spoken Tutorials I could have used them for self learning to teach others etc.
Hands-on sessions are a little chaotic and I would prefer to see these topics in the form of Spoken Tutorials
Hands-on sessions give a personal touch and so I prefer them to sessions based on Spoken Tutorials
Hands-on sessions without Spoken Tutorials are impersonal in very large classes of say 100 people or more
The efficacy of Spoken Tutorials approach is the same whether the class size is small or very large
Spoken Tutorial sessions are impersonal in very large classes of say 100 people or more

23. Rate the following aspects of the workshop: (Kindly respond using the scale given below, wherein 1 implies "Extremely bad ", 2 implies "Bad", 3 implies "Acceptable", 4 implies "Good", and 5 implies "Excellent".)

Effectiveness of the current and conventional workshops

You may have undergone some other workshop on CFD. We want you to compare that experience with the current experience. There are only two, but important, questions in this section. Please take a few minutes to understand the questions and answer them.

30. Compare the method of learning through Spoken Tutorials with CONVENTIONAL software training workshops you may have attended

The current workshop is WORSE than conventional workshops I attended     The current workshop is COMPARABLE to the conventional workshops I attended     The current workshop is BETTER than the conventional workshop I attended     Cannot compare. Not attended any conventional software training workshop
Self learning of topics missed/skipped in the workshop
Conduct of a practical workshop for a large number of participants and STICKING TO THE SCHEDULE
Conduct of a practical workshop for a large number of participants while EFFECTIVELY HANDLING both FAST and SLOW LEAERNERS
Conduct of a practical workshop for a large number of participants but with ONLY A FEW TAs
ABILITY TO CONDUCT a similar practical workshop with the instructional material provided
Contributing to content generation in the software taught (e.g. OpenFOAM)

31. This question has to do with the CURRENT workshop using Spoken Tutorials

Extremely easy     Somewhat easy     Neither easy nor difficult     Somewhat difficult     Extremely difficult
Exploring aspects of OpenFOAM not covered in the workshop also not available through Spoken Tutorials is
Learning a new software if the timed discussion forum support is available is
Conducting a workshop on a new software if help with Spoken Tutorials and Forum are available
